Women’s Fall 2014 Fashion

Summer is beginning to run its course, which means it’s time to put away that polka dot bikini and those high-waited shorts, and start shopping the big trends coming this fall season. From bold new patterns to fuller material, the fall fashion runways have previewed an array of possibilities for the forthcoming season.

The oversized look has been around for years, but it was on this season’s runway that the trend took on a new life. Renowned designers such as Alexander McQueen, The Row, and Celine were all praising the trend by strutting their models down the runway in larger pants, sweaters, and coats. It’s hard to feel bad about a few extra pounds with this popular style making its way around. Bigger is better!

Fur is always a must for the fall, but this season, designers- Chanel, Fendi, and Dolce & Gabbana- put a twist down on this old trend. In addition to the enormously popular fur vest, the runways featured fur hoods and fur coats in daring patterns and eye-catching colors. Beat the cold this season with this new and improved style!

If there’s been anything that’s completely blown up these past few years, it’s the sneaker trend. And good news: you can keep your heels in the back closet because this trend is here to stay! Whether you’ve been rocking some killer sneaker wedges or some slip-on sneakers, you’re sure to still look ultra fashionable this season. Just take a look at the runways of Chanel, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and DKNY, who have been showing off this style for the fall.
